Timed with the International Mass Timber Conference, the event represents the launch of an effort to support architects, builders and others looking to source climate-smart wood products.
The Climate-Smart Wood Group will focus on the following:

Understanding and making the case for use of climate-smart wood products.

Helping project teams source wood from Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified forests and restoration treatments.

Exploring ways to increase the availability of climate-smart wood products in the marketplace.

There will be a brief program to introduce the Climate-Smart Wood Group, along with time for networking and socializing.
Drinks and appetizers will be served. This is an open and free event.

Ahead of the Regional Meetings this summer, FSC US will host webinars to provide background information and begin to spark ideas for mitigation options.
